IIT Jee Advanced result 2018: 26 students from Anand Kumar's Super 30 crack top exam

IIT Jee Advanced result 2018:  This exam is not everyone's cup of tea. It takes a lot of effort and right kind of coaching. As the competition is quite tough, it becomes difficult for students from the economically poor background to crack the exam.  However, this year again, 26 out of 30 students who were trained at Bihar's 'Super 30'academy have cracked IIT-JEE (Advanced) this year. The IIT-JEE Advanced results were published today. Anand Kumar, the math wizard, founded the academy in 2002. It trains 30 meritorious students for JEE exams from underprivileged sections. "It is satisfying to see that students from the remotest corners, where winds of development have not reached yet and life continues to be a struggle, competing with the best and the privileged lot," PTI quoted Kumar as saying.

Most of the students who have cleared the exam are from the very humble background. Onirjit Goswami, Suraj Kumar, Yash Kumar and Suryakant Das are from economically poor background, it said. 

Goswami said cracking IIT was a distant dream but he managed to do it. Goswami said he had received a lot of support from Kumar. Suraj Kumar from Jharkhand, whose parents have never gone to school, has also cracked the exam with flair. His father is a landless farmer and was overwhelmed by his son cracking the exam.

Around 500 students have qualified  IIT-JEE in the past 16 years from the institute. Kumar also reportedly provides food and accommodation to the students through the year. Kumar entered the Limca Book of World Records in 2009 and the math wizard plans to take his initiative to across the country.

"The demand for similar initiatives has grown so much across the country that I have to find a way to reach out to more students," Kumar said. 

Kumar has earned a lot of applause for his initiative for the success of his Super 30 academy.
