CBSE results 2015 have been declared  for all the students who registered and sat for the JEE Main examination –  over 1.52 lakh students were declared qualified to take examination for JEE(Advanced).
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results 2015 can be checked at cbseresults.nic.in.
The cut off marks for general candidates in JEE (Mains) was 105, for OBC 70 marks, for SC 50 marks and for ST 44 marks, said Executive Director JEE(Main) CBSE.
The results were awaited with much trepidation as the JEE Main examination was marred by controversy when it became clear that there were certain errors in the offline exam.
Good marks in JEE Main 2015 result (Joint Entrance Examination) are a prerequisite for taking the next step into the ‘Advanced’ stage and thereafter entering top engineering colleges in the country like the prestigious  Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs).
As far as the others are concerned, they will have to go to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or else try their luck at private colleges.
Approximately, 13 lakh candidates had registered for the offline and online papers of JEE(Main) that were held earlier this month.
The successful candidates would be eligible to register themselves online for JEE (Advanced) from May 2.

1. Log onto  cbseresults.nic.in
2. Insert roll number
3. Provide password
4. Get Scorecard (in Stage I )
5. Get All India Rank (in Stage II)
