CONSULTANT / CONTRACT JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY EXPERTS

KBITS, a society under the Department of IT, BT and S & T, Government of Kamataka, is the 'Nodal Agency' to undertake investment promotional activities and render necessary lead and assistance to setup BT Parks relevant to Manne Biotechnology in Mangalore and Vivarium in Bidar. in collaboration with Kamataka Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU). KBITS requires following personnel to be engaged as Technical Experts. The work mainly involves development of action plans, coordinating work within the Government Departments, networking with KVAFSU and other collaborators (Nationally and Internationally) to build a progressive biotechnology ecosystem for entrepreneurship and product development and getting required clearances. The remuneration will be on consolidated /fixed basis. The appointment is for a period of ONE YEAR on consultant/contract basis extendable based on performance.

Biotechnology Lead: Ph.D with 3 years or more academic/industry experience in the area of Marine Biotechnology and inclination into R&D and manufactunng from Marine resources. A good understanding of Animal Husbandry/ Vivarium would be helpful; Good communication in English / Kannada plus soft skills would be an added advantage.

Associate Biotechnology Lead: M.Sc or BE Biotech / Life Sciences with exposure to Animal Husbandry and Fisheries. Good communication in English/ Kannada/ Web Activity plussoft skills would be an added advantage.
