NHPC Limited, a 'Mini Ratna', Schedule -A Public Sector Enterprise of Govt, of India, having established itself as the premier organization in Hydropower Sector in the country, is now expanding and diversifying to excel in other sectors of power development including Thermal, Solar and Wind Power - both within the country as well as abroad. As part of its capacity addition plans in Thermal Sector, NHPC has already signed MoU for executing 02 Thermal Power Projects in Chhattisgarh and Bihar for a cumulative installed capacity of over 2,600 MW and is in advanced stage of acquiring more thermal power projects in different states like Odisha. In quest to establish NHPC as a leading player in the Thermal Power Sector, we invite competent and dynamic professionals with proven track record in the area of Thermal Power Sector to take up the challenging position of General Manager (Thermal) as detailed below:
General Manager(Thermal)
Full time regular B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in 53 Yrs./one Manager Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (UR ) (Thermal)/ from recognized Indian University/
(E8)/ Institute approved by AICTE. {51300-3% Experience: -73000 Post qualification experience of 23 years (IDA) in PSUs/Central/State Govt. Utilities, out of which 13 years experience should be in Coal based Thermal Power Sector and 03 years experience should be in the level of E7 in the pay scale of (51300-3%-73000)(IDA).
Out of the above experience, the candidate should have association of at least 05 years in the field of Engineering/Construction/Erection/ Testing & Commissioning/Operation & Maintenance of Thermal Projects/ Plants of at least 200 MW.
* Pay scale & allowances in respect of Executives are provisional.
The Compensation in CTC terms is one of the best amongst PSUs and selection will be made through Personal Interview.
