TCS offers 25,000 Campus Placements Digitally
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
one of the renowned IT firm has changed its campus hiring process. The
placement process is now digitized completely. A total of 25, 000
positions are available are available for the 2013 passing out batch.
TCS has tied up with 450+ institutes for campus placements where candidates referred by Campus Placement Officers can register online with TCS's online recruitment portal NextStep. After verifying their qualifications and successful registering themselves, the candidates are eligible for the online test, accessed by the Touchstone tool on TCS's recruitment portal NextStep. The test evaluates the candidate's technical and communication skills. Finalized candidates go through a personal interview and the selected candidates receive their offer letter/ joining letter through the internet.
The entire process being digitized helps prevent fake offer letters and fraud employments in addition to be appealing for the younger generations. The accuracy and speed is definitely an added bonus.
