Engagement of Urdu Teachers (TGTs) on contract basis, under SSA, in schools of Directorate of Education.

Hundred Urdu Teachers (TGTs) are proposed to be engaged by the
Directorate of Education. GNCT of Delhi under the scheme of Sarva
Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). The vacancies are subject to variation. The
tentative vacancies in each district is as under: -
East-16
North East-38
North West (A-12 & B-3) - 15
WestB-05
South West B-04
South-20
Central-02These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis.
The Consolidated salary @ of Rs. 15000/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra allowance will be admissible.
Qualification for TGT languages as prescribed (including Urdu)TGT (MIL-Hindi/Sanskrit/Punjabi/Urdu): BA (Hon.) in the Modern Indian Language (Urdu) concerned Or B.A with MIL (Urdu) concerned as one of the elective subject with one additional language or one school subject at degree level Or Equivalent Oriental Degree in MIL (Urdu) with English in Matriculation. B.Ed/Sr. Anglo Vernacular Certificate. Knowledge of Hindi essential.
N.B.:- The candidate should have studied the subject Urdu concerned as mentioned above in all parts/years of graduation. The elective word may also include main subject as practiced in different Universities.
Age:-
A. 30 years for male candidates and 40 years in case of female candidates as on
the closing data of application.
B. Age relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates admissible.
C. Age relaxable for 3 years in case of OBC candidates admissible.
D. Age relexable for candidates with disabilities- 10 years (General).
15 years in the case SC/ST (PH) and 13 years in the case of OBC (PH).
The teachers would be engaged on the basis of merit in academic performance of the applicant at different level (X, XII or equivalent. Graduation and B.Ed, or equivalent).
The teachers will be engaged only till the time the posts are filled on regular basis or 31.03.2012, whichever is earl ier.
Recruitment Rules in detail in respect of all posts are available on the website of Directorate of Education - www.edudel.nic.in. Those who fulfill educational qualification, as specified in Recruitment Rules (RRs) shall only apply.
Reservation will be provided as applicable under rules in the Directorate of Education.
Teachers employed on contract basis can be deployed in any school within the District in which he/she applies. Candidates can apply only in one district.
Willing candidates may apply online on our website www.cdudel.nic.in latest by 20.09.2012 in anyone of the district of their choice.
The applicant shall fill up his or her name as recorded in the certificate of Secondary/ Sr. Secondary Board Examination, failing which application shall be summarily rejected.
The application shall be submitted online by20.09.2012 08/10/2012. The result will
be displayed on website on 25.09.2012. The applicants who have earlier
applied and are engaged as guest teachers are also eligible for applying
under this notice, if they so desire.
