MAMTA – Health Institute for Mother and Child (www.mamta-himc.org & www.yrshr.org) is seeking to recruit suitable candidates for various positions for a project on “Improving Reproductive and Sexual Health of Young People by Increasing the Age at Marriage in India, Nepal and Bangladesh”.


A. State Program Manager

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
• Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• At least 5 to 7 years experience after obtaining post graduate degree preferably in social/health sector.
Desirable:
• Good understanding of WCD / law enforcement / education and others related department.
• Work experience in early marriage and education sector.
• Strategic planning and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills (written and spoken) in both English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in use of MS office and information technology.

Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Management and Supervision of all the activities of program, ensuring quality and adherence to the proposed plan.
2. Participatory planning, Strategy development and monitoring provide supportive supervision and facilitate team-building, liaison and networking with government, non-government organizations, administrative and financial support to the field level staff.
3. Organise and facilitate stakeholder consultations and review meetings as required at state level.
4. Documentation and Reporting, MIS compiling.
5. Represent the organization in various forums.
6. Facilitate troubleshooting options with the guidance of MAMTA-Senior Management team to remove any bottlenecks that might arise during implementation of the program.
7. Extensive travelling within the states and districts under the project.
8. Undertake any other activity that may be necessary for effective implementation of the program.
9. Regularly report on progress to Senior Management Team in MAMTA head office.

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- to 50,000/- per month

B. Data Analysts

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
• Postgraduate Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years experience after obtaining postgraduate degree preferably in data management and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.

Desirable:
• Good writing and reporting skills in Hindi and English.
• Basic understanding on analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
• Proficiency in use of MS Office and Information Technology.
• Willing to undertake travel to the field areas as and when required.

Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the program database system effectively and maintain the quality nature of the database systems.
2. Assure about the integrity of data/information, including data extraction, collection, storage, manipulation, processing and finally the data analysis properly.
3. Identify gaps in data/information, prioritize the research areas/questions, plan and conduct the related research effectively.
4. Coordinate with district teams to organise the compilation of information and data collection from the field.
5. Documentation and report writing.
6. Regularly submit report on progress made in data collection to state program manager.

Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- to 45,000/- per month

C. District Coordinator

Qualifications & Experience:
• Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• At least 2 years experience after obtaining post graduate degree preferably in social/health sector.

Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and Supervision of the entire process, ensuring quality and adherence to the proposed plan at district level.
2. Maintain close relationship with key stakeholders at district level and ensure adequate information flow.
3. Liaison and networking with government, non-government organizations and other stakeholders.
4. Actively participate in ongoing decisions concerning identifying gaps and prioritising research areas/questions, collection of data/information, methodology, and data analysis, and making the presentations effectively.
5. Facilitate troubleshooting options with the guidance of State Program Manager to remove any bottlenecks that might arise during implementation of Program.
6. Documenting, reporting and MIS compiling.
7. Spot check and validate the data/information collected.
8. Organise and facilitate stakeholder consultations and review meetings as required at district level.
9. Extensive travelling within the district under the project.
10. Regularly report on progress to State program Manager.

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- per month

4. Extensive travelling within the district under the project.
5. Regularly report on progress to District Coordinator.

Remuneration: Rs. 15000/-per month
