Breaking: UPSC May decrease Age limit to 26 years for IAS Exams from 2015
According to Navbharat Times sources Government of India is going to reduce the age limit and number of attempts for all those appearing in Civil Services Examination . But there is no talk of any change in examination format.
According to sources UPSC will release formal notification for this effect.

| General Category | From 32 to 26 years | From 6 to 3 |
| OBC | From 35 to 28 years | From 9 to 5 |
| SC/ST | From 35 to 29 years | From unlimited to 6 |
NOTE: Minimum Age limit for all categories are 21 years.
