Alal Amrit Abhiyan (AAA) is an ambitious scheme of Health and Family Welfare Department. Government of Assam Aimed to provide critical care health assurance coverage to BPL population and Low Income households, the Scheme covers selected procedures in six specialties viz. Cardiovascular diseases. Cancer. Kidney diseases. Neo-natal diseases. Neurological diseases and Burns.
With a total sum assured of 12 Lakh per person per year for the treatment of approved procedures, the Scheme provides cashless medical treatment in the empaneled public and pnvate hospitals, within and outside the state of Assam
In order to implement the Scheme. Government of Assam has already engaged an Implementation Support Agency. In order to oversee the implementation, the Government is setting up an AAA Society, the secretariat of which - the State Nodal Cell - has the following openings
