INSURANCE OMBUDSMAN VACANCIES
The Office of Ihe Governing Body of Insurance Council (GBIC) invites applications for preparing a panel for appointment as Insurance Ombudsman to be posted at Ahmedabad and Guwahati from persons who fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Minimum Eligibility
Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as Bxecutive Director or Zonal Manager in Executive Director cadre or equivalent of LIC of India or General Manager or equivalent of General Insurance Public Sector Companies in India OR
Persons who have retired (or about to retire) from IAS or IRS. The candidate should have held a post equivalent to or above the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India or anv equivalent post In IRS/IAS.
OR
Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as District & Sessions Court Judge or Judge of MACT equivalent to District & Sessions Court Judge or equivalent Courts orHigh Court Judge.
Age
Not more than 62 years as on 31,03.2015.
