Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in Nano Mission- DST (Govt. of India)- sponsored project entitled “Rational Design of Plasmon-engineered Luminescence Upconversion Nanomaterials for Multimodal Imaging and Therapy" at Department of Chemistry, Central University of Bihar, Gaya Campus, Gaya-823001.

Junior Research Fellow
Masters Degree (M.Sc) in Chemistry/ Physics/NanoScience /NanoTechnology/or equivalent with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
NET/GATE qualified candidates along with experience in nanoparticle synthesis and UV-Vis absorption,/luminescence spectroscopy
Rs. 16000/- + HRA as applicable (for NET/GATE qualified candidates)
Rs. 14000/- + HRA as applicable (for non-NET/ non-GATE candidates)
Age Limit: Candidate must not be over 28 years on the date of advertisement, which is relaxed by 5 years
for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC candidates as per norms of Govt. of India

- Short listed candidates will be intimated over e-mail. No separate interview call letters will be
dispatched. - No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
- The post is purely temporary in nature and co-terminates with the project. The initial appointment will
be for one year which can be extended on the basis of assessment of candidate’s performance. - CUB reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon their qualification
and experience of the candidat - Selected candidate will receive fellowship as recommended by DST, Govt. of India.
- Hostel facility may be provided to the selected candidate subject to availability.
