UNDP is looking for TECHNICAL EXPERTS' to assist CHIEF ELECTION OFFICERS in eight states i.e. ASSAM, ANDHRA PRADESH, BIHAR, GUJARAT, JHARKHAND, MAHARASHTRA, ODISHA AND UTTAR PRADESH for UNDP PROJECT SUPPORTING DEMOCRATIC ELECTORAL MANAGEMENT
QUALIFICATION : Post graduate degree in Social Sciences, IT, Development Communication or any related disciplines. Additional qualification in electoral management / administration, development studies or management an advantage.
EXPERIENCE : Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in the field of ICTD, research, reporting and documentation. Good knowledge and experience of social media, understanding of issues pertaining to democratic governance, electoral management and public policy. Understanding of development issues i.e. gender, youth and participation etc. Experience in applying a Rights Based-Approach to Development Programming and electoral process. Excellent documentation skills in English and Hindi. Experience in participatory approaches involving a broad range of stakeholders including disadvantaged people. Previous experience with government agencies an advantage.
