POWERGRID
has been allotted 4 states including the state of Jharkhand for development of
National Optic Fibre Network (NOFN) project and entrusted with establishing
optical fibre connectivity to all Gram Panchayats.
To
execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State, POWERGRID, the
Central Transmission Utility, of the country invites applications for the
following temporary experienced posts on contract basis for a period of
two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection
will be on the basis of Personal Interview.
However, the
Management reserve the right to raise the minimum eligibility
standards/criteria and/or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number
of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.
Screening test, if conducted, shall be objective type of one hour
duration for elimination purpose only and shall not carry any
weightage in final merit. Other details shall be intimated separately, if
required.
Offer of
engagement shall be sent to candidates found suitable in interview in the order
of merit and depending upon the number of vacancies. The final engagement of
candidates is subject to their medical fitness as per company’s standards and other joining formalities. No relaxation in
health standards is allowed.
Important Terms and Conditions of engagement
The engagement
is purely temporary in nature and on contract basis for a period of two
years or completion of project whichever is earlier. Contractual engagement
will automatically come to an end on the expiry of aforesaid period of two
years or completion of project whichever is earlier and persons will have no
right or claim to continue with POWERGRID beyond the specified terms or seek
regular employment.
Contract
personnel will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration as under:

Contractual
personnel will be entitled for Leave, medical benefits etc. as per their
detailed terms & conditions of engagement (to be issued to candidates
alongwith offer of engagement if selected). Further, contractual engagement
will be regulated by Company’s rule
and administrative orders that may be in force from time to time during the
period of engagement.

Since scrutiny for Personal Interview (or Screening Test, if required) is to be
done based on qualification and experience possessed by the candidates, it is
mandatory to enclose all relevant certificates related to qualification and
experience in addition to Date of birth, Caste and other certificates as applicable.
Absence of such documents may result in disqualification of candidature.
