Bihar Police, Government of Bihar is inviting applications to fill up the posts of constables in various sections of the police department and Bihar Military Police. The application process for this exam will be conducted by Central Selection Board of Constable.
- Posts: 7606 out of which 1637 posts are for SC, 161 for ST, 1945 for MBC, 739 for BC, 379 for BC Female, 2725 for General.
- Vacancies in BMP: 2166 (444 SC, 51 ST, 510 MBC, 190 BC, 121 BC Female, 570 General)
- Vacancies in Bihar Police: Total 5420 posts ( 1193 SC, 130 ST, 1435 MBC, 549 BC, 258 BC Female, 1855 General).
Education: Candidates must have passed the 10th Board Examination.
Age: 18 to 23 years for General, 18 to 25 for BC/ MBC, 18 to 28 for SC/ ST, 18 to 26 for BC Female.
Physical Requirements:
Male: Height of 165 cm with chest of 81 cm (5cm expansion)
Female: Height of 155cm
Selection process: Written test and Physical Test.
Application process: Candidates have to apply in the official forms which will be issued at all the prominent post offices in the districts of Bihar. Last date of sending the application through registered post or at the office of CSBC Patna is 10th July 2012.
