The UGC-NET January 2017 Exam results were announced on Monday. The results are available at the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official website: www.cbsenet.nic.in
CBSE is the coordinating agency for conducting the examination which determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for posts of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). These examinations were held on 22 January 2017.
The exam is held twice a year and conducted for 83 subjects at multiple locations across the country.
CBSE also recently released the answer keys for UGC NET 2017 on its official website cbsenet.nic.in.
Candidates qualifying for the JRF category become eligible to receive the University Grants Commission (UGC) monthly fellowship for pursuing research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related field. They also are eligible for teaching as assistant professor.
