Appointment of Director
Applications are invited lor the post ot Director ot Indian Institute ot Information Technology (HIT). Dharwad. The Director ot an HIT, being the academic as well as administrative head, is expected to have a proven background in administration, leadership, teaching and research. The candidate should have a Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent in the preceding degree, preferably in Computer Science or In Electronics & Communication Engineering, with an outstanding academic record throughout and a minimum 10 years ot experience as a Professor in a reputed educational institution (may be relaxed in case of an outstanding candidate). The preferred age of the candidate is less than 60 years. The post carries a fixed pay of Rs. 75,000/- plus a special pay of Rs. 5000/- per month, with the usual allowances.
