They should have Ph.D from reputed University and should have teaching and research credentials. Ihey should have insight of issues pertaining to higher education with comprehensive focus on institution building, continuous improvement in pedagogy, quality of academic delivery, research and development. Overseas exposure in teaching and research is an added advantage.
