Assistant Grade II in Food Corporation of India (FCI) Recruitment 2012

Food Corporation of India (FCI) has announced new recruitment 2012 drive for the post of Assistant Grade II under four different sections for five different zones. FCI came into existence as government owned organization in 14.1.1965. It has five zones and registered head office available in New Delhi.
SSC will conduct this Assistant grade –III recruitment 2012 project. Important information given below relates to FCI Recruitment 2012 project, please read it carefully.

FCI Recruitment 2012 news updates

Post and Vacancies: Total 6545 (six thousand five hundred and forty five vacancies) out of these 753 (seven hundred and fifty three) posts for FCI east zone, 869 (eight hundred and sixty nine) for west zone, 3023 (three thousand and twenty three) for north zone and remaining 241 (two hundred and forty one) for north east zone. Below are position wise vacancy details.

Important Dates: Online registration starts at SSC official website www.ssconline.nic.in and will continue till closing date 21st September, 2012 (Friday). According to original FCI Recruitment 2012 notification written examination date is 11th November, 2012 (Sunday).

Eligibility Criteria

For FCI Assistant Grade III Recruitment 2012 project candidates have to complete following eligibility conditions. If applicant fails to fulfill this, no need to apply for this post. Below are the eligibility criteria.
Age: As on 1st August, 2012 applicant maximum age required 27 (twenty seven) years. +5 years upper age relaxation for scheduled cast and scheduled tribe, +3 years age relaxation for other backward classes.
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Grade – III (General and Depot): Graduation degree in any steam
Assistant Grade – III (Accounts): Bachelor in commerce (B.Com)
Assistant Grade – III (Technical): Bachelor in Science (Agricultural) or Botany / Zoology / Bio Tech/ Microbiology / Food Science or Bachelor in Engineering / Bachelor in Technology in Food Science / Agricultural Engineers / Bio Technology

Selection Procedure

SSC will conduct written examination for FCI AG –III Recruitment 2012 project at various examination centres across the country. There will be two papers, one during the morning session & other afternoon.
Persons who qualified in both written test will be called for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). Final selection will be based on marks obtained in written test and CPT.

Application Procedure

Fee: First fill the part-I of application form and download challan form to deposit application fee. Only General and OBC category candidates need to pay Rs.200 (Rupee two hundred) as application processing fee cash mode at any CBS branch of SBI. Fee also can be deposit through State Bank of India netbanking.
Application Registration: After making payment, go to the www.ssconline.nic.in or www.ssconline2.gov.in for online registration.
