PDCSL has been engaged by an UN Agency to provide human resource support to the various programmes in Bihar PDCSL invites application from qualified candidates for the position Data Administrator SC/ST welfare under SPPME Programme. To be placed at: SC/ST Welfare Department, Patna, Bihar Major tasks to be accomplished Maintain a database on various child centric schemes being implemented by the department/ BMVM (Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission) in an easy to retrieve structure Also collate the information shared by other line departments on the progress made in the implementation of SC/ST sub-plans Keying in monitoring information collected from field and collating it to present the progress Generate monthly MIS reports in desired formats to assist in decision making The abovementioned tasks would also entail the following: Assist the department/ Mahadalit Vikas Mission in designing and development of data collection formats /tools as per the requirement Develop presentations on various aspects on the field progress and the challenges Provide support in need based data cleaning Deliverables Develop a system for frequently collecting information on SC/ST welfare related schemes from the field Develop an institutionalized mechanism of reporting from the field Reports and Presentations developed after analyzing the information. Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required:     Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, or Database Management, or certified programmer  4-5years progressively responsible professional work experience in developing web applications, managing databases, analyzing data and report preparation Experience of data management including web based applications Excellent IT skills and knowledge of software for data analysis like SPSS etc . Knowledge and experience of conducting training sessions. Ability to do statistical analysis Fluency in English and Hindi Experience of working with Government Experience of working in Bihar would be preferred. Contract Duration and Appointment: Initially for one year, but renewable. Consultant will be placed inPatna. The professional fees will be between 35,000 to Rs. 40,000/-per month. Additional support costs for travel, communications, insurance and contingencies.
